Approval of Permit No. 19906, under California Code of Regulations, Title 23, Article 3, Section 6, for work within an adopted plan of flood control: To install two 8-inch welded High Density Polyethylene pipes and one 8-inch air pipe encased in a 36-inch steel casing pipe using Horizontal Directional Drilling and two bore pits. The pipe will be installed a minimum of 8 feet below the low water channel of the Auburn Ravine overbank area (floodway) and the Auburn Ravine (perennial creek). This permit also authorizes the removal of 35 linear feet of 12-inch sewer pipe on the right bank, the installation of two air release valves, two manholes, and a 3-foot by 4-foot concrete box cleanout. The casing pipe will be filled with sand and plugged on both sides with 12-inch-thick non-shrink mortar plug.
