- AC Transit proposes to make physical and operational improvements to the existing Richmond Parkway Transit Center at the Interstate 80 (I-80)/Richmond Parkway Interchange. The proposed project includes the construction of a four-level parking garage on the northeastern portion of the existing park and ride lot. The project also includes an expansion of the bus transfer center to accommodate up to 12 buses at any one time. Additional facilities that are planned for the project site would include up to 12 bus shelters, security facilities, restrooms, bicycle parking, and service/maintenance areas.
