Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to construct a multi-use trail (EMUT) at the southernmost entrance to the Pogonip greenbelt property (at the end of Golf Club Drive) that will continue north to Rincon Trail and the University Connector trail (UCON) in the northernmost portion of the property. The project consists of construction of two stringer bridges and two puncheons. Stringer Bridge No. 1 will be constructed over an intermittent drainage near Golf Club Drive. Stringer Bridge No. 2 will be construed over Redwood Creek. Puncheon No. 1 will be constructed over a seasonal swale adjacent to Redwood Creek. Puncheon No. 2 will be constructed over a seasonal swale along the northern portion of the EMUT. The project is located on Redwood Creek and an unnamed intermittent swale of which both are tributaries to the San Lorenzo River in the County of Santa Cruz, State of California; Latitude 37* 2', 30'', Longitude - 122* 2' 25'', Assessor's Parcel Number (APN): 001-211-01. The California Department of Fish and Game is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2012-0227 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, City of Santa Cruz as represented by Leslie Keedy.
