Document Description
The proposed project would apply to PWD's 47-square mile water district service area, which is located in the Antelope Valley area of Los Angeles County, CA. The SWRP assumes the population in the PWD service area will double over the next 25 years or by 2035. The primary goal of the SWRP is to therefore develop and diversify PWD's water supply to ultimately provide supplies capable of matching future overall annual water demand on a year-to-year basis. The secondary purpose of the proposed project is to improve water supply reliability and redundancy in PWD's.
