Document Description
A Director's Determination for Site Plan Review for the construction of 15, two story, 30 foot tall structures to contain 99 residential apartment units, laundry, storage and other common facilities for the project residents, recreational facilities and a rental office. The project will divide the new construction so that 59 new residences will be built adjacent to Lake Street and 40 units will be built adjacent to Fredrick Street. The project will provide a minimum of 181 parking spaces in tuck under and surface garages on the site. These structures will be built on the site of previously demolished residential structures. The remaining 696 apartment units will be or have been rehabilitated and upgraded to current standards. The existing garage structures will either be rehabilitated or demolished and reconstructed consistent with the Secretary of the Interior's standards for the treatment of historic properties. The entire site contains 32.63 net acres. Additional entitlements include permits for the demolition, alterations or removal of historic structures (the previously mentioned garages and common facilities, grading, excavation, foundation and building permits and any additional permits required to implement the project including but not limited to an alley vacation and a vesting parcel map or a lot line adjustment.
