Document Description
The California Department of Public Health (Department), as a Responsible Agency, will be providing funds for this project from the Proposition 50 Program to Inland Empire Utilities Agency (IEUD) which is currently a member of the Chino Basin Desalter Authority. IEUD proposes expansion of treatment facility Chino 1 Desalter from 12.6 mgd to 14.2 mgd and Chino 2 Desalter from 10 mgd to 20.5 mgd with reverse osmosis and ion exchange treatment, construction of the Chino Creek Wellfield and expansion of the Chino ll Desalter Wellfield, and construction of 2.6 miles of 24" and 30" diameter raw water pipeline and appurtenant structures.
