Document Description
The Proposed Action would be an expansion of the existing Turnipseed facility. The surface storage and regulation capacity of the Turnipseed Groundwater Banking Facility would be increased by approximately 180 AF with the construction and operation of the Southern Expansion (Project). The Project would include excavation of an 80-acre site and subsequent levee construction to create a 4 cell water recharge basin. The Project includes two new flow meters on two turnouts to the existing Turnipseed Groundwater Banking Facility. No new wells are proposed as a part of this Project, as the Project would utilize the existing monitoring and recovery wells that are part of the Turnipseed Groundwater Banking Facility.
