Document Description
Project activities include the stabilization of the existing retaining wall by constructing a new gabion block wall and installing a rock weir in Robin Hood's Creek. The proposed repair consists of excavating the native material in front of the lowest tier of the wall and placing gabion blocks in its place. The gabion wall will be 83 cubic yards and constructed with four to eight inch angular granite. Rock weirs would be installed at the downstream end of the proposed gabion wall to stabilize the stream profile grade and arrest any further channel incision at the face of the retaining structures.
