Document Description
The project will fund the retrofitting of 12 medium- and heavy-duty Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) utility service vehicles to demonstrate the economic and environmental viability of Recipient's innovative zero-emissions HyPowerTM Hybrid system. The project benefits the public by demonstrating the cost-effectiveness of alternative vehicles, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, reducing noise associated with diesel consumption, and reducing dependence on petroleum fuels.
