Document Description
The project includes enhancing the habitat by restoring the channel-floodplain connectivity, incorporating large woody debris for habitat complexity, creating critical winter refuge and summer rearing habitat for salmonids, creating areas of slack or slow water, increasing flood capacity of the area and reducing flood flow velocities in the channel. To create the functioning floodplain, approximately 18,000 cubic yards of soil will be removed. SAA #1600-2010-0153-R3.
