Document Description
The project is limited to the removal and replacement of an existing railroad flatcar stream crossing over Arcade Creek. The crossing will be replaced with an Aluminum Ribbed Arch culvert. The culvert will have five culvert openings, sized as follows:
P1-48" P2-15" P3-48" P4-42" P5-36"
Structures P1, P3, P4 and P5 will be above the OHWM and will act as storm drains to allow water to pass during high flows and 100 yr. flood events.
The culvert structure will be placed on concrete footings below grade, and outside of the streambed. The structure will be backfilled with soil and faced with cobble stone gravity embankment protection.
