Document Description
The project is limited to removal between 6,000 and 8,000 cubic yards of accumulated sediments within the children' swimming area in Lake Vera. The area to be excavated is approximately 230 feet square. The lake is drained every year and the excavation will take place after 01 September once the lake had been drained. All excavated sediments will be removed so that leachate from the sediments cannot re-enter the lake and so that sediments will not re-enter the lake due to erosion from seasonal rainfall in the area.
