Improvement of wildlife friendly farming practices including planting of native vegetation hedge rows and butffer strips, improvement of existing agricultural facilities for winter flooding capabilities, and improvement of exisitng wildlife/wetland habitat on existing agricultural facilities. The project will enhance food production for wildlife, provide brood, staging and wintering habitat for migratory water birds including waterfowl, wading birds, and shorebirds.
