Document Description
Caltrans must relocate portions of the NMWD Aqueduct as part of the Caltrans Marin-Sonoma Narrows (MSN) High Occupancy Vehicle Project along Highway 101 between Kastania Road in southern Sonoma County and Redwood Landfill Road in northern Marin County. To allow for year-round gravity flow of water through the Aqueduct, NMWD proposes to increase the diameter of 3.8 miles of relocated pipeline from 30" to 42" and install 0.8 mile of additional pipeline adjacent to the portions of the Aqueduct unaffected by the Caltrans MSN Project. A blind flange would be installed to disconnect the Kastania Pump Station from the Aqueduct.
