- Document Description
- The updated BPMP identifies a proposed bikeway and pedestrian network based upon analysis and revisions to the network included in the 2001 BPMP. Up to 88 miles of bikeway would be added to the current network. Pedestrian projects for this update involve filling in gaps in the pedestrian network due to underdeveloped parcels, including the current gap at Santa Rosa Middle School. In addition, pedestrian projects would be implemented to improve pedestrian safety in highly trafficked areas, or to upgrade sidewalks to City Code requirements. Through a General Plan amendment, the updated BPMP would be adopted as part of the Transportation Element of the City of Santa Rosa General Plan.
