Document Description
The project will expand an existing 49-acre flood control basin to approximately 61.5 acres by basin floor and building a dam to create a deeper basin. The basin will be a normally dry reservoir (except for low-flows) that will attenuate peak runoff by containing storm water flows up to the 100-year expansion footprint; this area will be graded and realigned with a meandering form. Following construction, the stream will be restored with native wetland and riparian plantings.
