City of Fremont construction of safety improvements for a consolidated public at-grade crossing of Union Pacific Railroad/Mission Creek junction in the vicinity of Central Park and Gomes Park. The crossing is part of an existing trail between Gomes Park and Central Park. The crossing safety improvements consists of grading and construction of new asphalt, aggregate and concrete surfaces at the crossing area, and installation of a new railroad crossing signal, gates and fencing.
