Document Description
The Project is a proposed amendment to County General Ordinance Code Sections 6.20.30 and 17.52.035 that would create a conditional use permit process to allow legally existing mortuaries (including funeral homes) or cemeteries (including columbaria) to add a crematory facility to their existing operation, even if located closer than 300 feet to the nearest residence, subject to conditions and appropriate findings. No specific actions will occur following adoption of the proposed Ordinance Amendment.
