Document Description
The temporary bracing pipes spanning the creek channel will be removed and a U-shaped wall and concrete bottom slab will be constructed. The proposed U-shaped wall construction would require temporary construction support and dewatering. Temporary support would be provided by steel sheet piles driven to adequate depths below the excavation and potential horizontal bracing for the sheet piles on the channel side. Dewatering wells and pumps will be placed on both the north and south sides of the channel to dewater the site. Cofferdams will be temporarily installed up- and downstream of the project construction area. The CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2010-0370-R3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, San Mateo County.
