Document Description
The project includes the installation of a low-flow outlet, creation of a conveyance channel and replacement of a corroded 42-inch diameter metal pipe. The created channel will be approximately 50 to 150 feet wide and 2 to 3 feet deep. The new outlet will be operated from spring to fall only in order to manage water levels. Mitigated for the temporary loss of 11.95 acres of wetland habitat includes onsite creation of perennial and seasonal wetlands at a 1:1 ratio. The CDFG is executing a Lake and Streambed Alteration Agreement Number 1600-2010-0364-3 pursuant to Section 1602 of the Fish and Game Code to the project Applicant, Rolf Ohlemutz/Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District.
