- Note: Review per lead The project proposes to construct a Mojave Water Agency Central Operations Facility, which will consist of offices, vehicle maintenance building, parking areas and related facilities, on approximately 1.84 acres. The Project proposes the development of a County owned, maintained and operated High Desert Interpretive Center area that would function as a nature preserve with trail and related facilities on approximately 29.4 acres. The Project site will also contain area for Mojave River recharge and related facilities on approximately 43.1 acres. The Mojave River recharge area of the sire has been previously discussed and approved by MWA in the Mojave Water Agency Supply Reliability and Groundwater Replenishment Programs, Final Project Environmental Impact Report, January 2006 (State Clearinghouse Number 2005041103).
