Document Description
The Project involves a total expansion of 22,272 square feet on the east side of the building where the Tire & Lube Express and exterior Garden Center are currently located, resulting in an approximately 153,399 s.f. store, which will include approximately 28,036 s.f. of grocery sales area and two entry vestibules. The Project's proposed expansion area will generally encompass the Tire & Lube Express and Garden Center area. Other improvements that will be made to the existing store as part of the Project include redesigned building facades, one additional store entry vestibule, updated signage, parking lot upgrades, and an improved landscaping plan that will bring the parking lot shade tree requirements in compliance with the City's Zoning Code. to provide the Project with adequate parking. Further, the Project will include sustainability features that will exceed energy efficiency standards of Title 24 in promoting water and energy efficiency and conservation. The existing Walmart currently operates from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight for most of the year, and the expanded Walmart store will operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week except for certain designated holidays.
