- NOTE: Review Per Lead The proposed park would be located on 8 acres of vacant land in-between and adjacent to the existing Nuview Fire Station #3 and the Nuview Branch Library building. Proposed amenities include a parking lot with 80 spaces, a basketball court, tot-lot play area, picnic areas with shade structures, a skate park, amphitheatre, horseshoe pit, walking trail, open turf area, and a 280 sf restroom/storage facility. Lakeview Avenue and 10th Street would also undergo half-width street widening improvements adjacent to the proposed park. Though subject to change based on funding and other considerations, construction is proposed to commence in midsummer 2011. It is anticipated that construction would be completed in ~9 months.
