Document Description
Note: Review per lead
The proposed project consists of three phases: 1) demolition of the existing track and associated facilities, 2) construction of a larger, replacement track and various outdoor track and field facilities, and 3) operation of the new track and field facilities. The existing 4-lane track, grass field, racquetball courts, shot put and discus rings facility, and sand jump pit and runway for the long jump will be demolished, and existing landscaping will be removed. A new 5-lane track will be constructed slightly north of the existing one. Two drainage swales and landscaping will be installed, artificial turf will replace the existing grass field, and a small, 10 by 20-foot concrete slab will be installed for a new storage shed. An asphalt slab will be installed at the southern end of the existing track for use as maintenance storage area. Chain link fencing will be installed.
