Conditional Use Permit to allow the sale of a full line of alcoholic beverages for off-site consumption in conjunction with the operation of a 45,000 square-foot supermarket and a 13,000 square-foot drug store, both to be constructed as a part of previously approved retail shopping center, on a 287,317 square-foot lot, providing 407 parking spaces, and located within the South Los Angeles Alcohol Sale Specific Plan and M2-1 Zone. The request is in concurrence with previously completed "Initial Study/ Environmental Assessment for the Slauson Central Plaza" and subsequent 2008 "Slauson Central Plaza Addendum to the Final Initial Study/Mitigated Negative Declaration" prepared by the CRA/LA (Council Fire No. 07-5174) that was adopted by the Los Angeles City Council in conjunction with a Disposition and Development Agreement with Slauson Central LLC for the development of the Slauson Central Retail Center at 944-1040 E. Slauson Avenue for the Council District Nine Corridors South of the Santa Monica Freeway Recovery Redevelopment Project Area.
