- NOTE: Review Per Lead The project is the adoption and implementation of the City of Azusa 2008-2014 Housing Element, which represents an update of the City's certified Housing Element. The Housing Element is an integral component of the City's General Plan, as it addresses existing and future housing needs of persons in all economic segments within the City. The City of Azusa's long-term housing goal is to provide housing opportunities to meet the diverse needs of the community. The project being evaluated in this Initial Study is a set of long-range planning goals detailing borad visions for housing and specific policies and programs to achieve those goals. The Initial Study assesses the potential impacts related to Housing Element goals and policies, including the provision of adequate land to accommodate the City's regional housing needs assessment (RHNA).
