Construction of a groundwater recharge and banking project including extraction wells. Improvements will include levees, excavation, structures, pipelines, wells, electrical, SCADA, monitoring wells and development of a habitat area that is typical of the Central Valley. Various sources of water, including excess surface supplies, flood waters on the Kings River and from local streams on the eastside of the District along with operational spills will be used for recharge.
