Document Description
NOTE: Extended Review Period to end on 10/22/10. The applicant, Imperial Valley Solar Company 1, LLC (IVSC Applicant) is proposing to develop a 23-MW alternating current, solar photovoltaic (PV) energy generation project on the 123-acre site. The IVSC 1 proponents and the Imperial Irrigation District (Property Owner) have submitted an application for Conditional Use Permit # 10-0014 proposing to develop the IVSC 1 PV Solar Facility. It will generate approximately 46,000MWh of electricity per year and be delivered by an overhead line to the existing IID Niland substation located approximately 20 feet from the southwest boundary of the site. IID will purchase all of the output from the IVSC 1 project pursuant to a long-term power purchase agreement.
