Document Description
Convert an existing 2-story, 28-room, approx. 5,760 sq. ft. Single Room Occupancy (SRO) residential building into an Adult Residential Facility (provides 24-hr. non-medical care for adults ages 18-59, who are unable to provide for their own daily needs; adults may be physically handicapped, developmentally disabled, and/or mentally disabled) having 17 rooms accommodating a total of 34 beds, on a approx. 9,198 sq. ft. lot located within the RD1.5-1 CDO Zone. Except for an exterior stairway no additions are proposed to the existing building. In addition to the bedrooms, the use would also contain a doctor's office and examination room, medication storage room, kitchen and common dining area, recreation room, laundry room, shared bathrooms, and storage rooms. As proposed, the project required a Variance to permit the use within the Zone.
