Note: Review Period Extended. The project includes the construction of a Walmart that would modify the Precise Development Plan adopted for the Wasco Center to allow an increase in the size of one of the buildings from 158,000 to 170,000 sf. The increase in size is requested for the construction of a Walmart that consists of a 24 hr retail and grocery center. The discretionary action being requested from the City of Wasco is approval for a Precise Development Plan and other ministerial approvals such as building permit, grading permit, and landscaping and irrigation plan approval. The project applicant will also require Caltrans approval authority of proposed improvements along SR-46.
