Document Description
Ameresco is proposing a project that would install a gas (LFG) cogeneration plant at the Foothill Sanitary Landfill for recovery of energy from the LFG presently being collected and combusted in accordance with the County's federal Title V permit. This project is solely an Ameresco project on land leased from the County within Foothill Sanitary Landfill. Installing and operating two LFG-fired Internal Combustion engines and generators. Each engine will be sized to combust a maximum of 942 standard cubic feet per minute of LFG and produce approximately 2.175 Megawatts of electric power. The proposed LFG-fired engines are expected to cause increases in emission levels for the Foothill Sanitary Landfill.
