The Tracy Downtown Plaza would feature an approximately 4,000 square foot grass area, a pavillion structure with a stage for community events, an interactive water fountain, a landmark structure, shade trees and shade structures. The Plaza would serve as the community's primary gathering space and be located in the heart of the City's Downtown near Downtown retail shops, the City's new Tracy Transit Station, the City's recently renovated Grande Theater, and future opportunity sites for high-density housing.

The project is consistent with the City's General Plan and Zoning and meets all other requirement to be considered exempt under Section 15332, which pertains to in-fill development.
