The Department of Water Resources is repairing and maintaining the designated project area of bank protection where erosion, sloughing and overgrowth has occured in efforts to preserve public safety. The project is exempts from CEQA pursuant to Section 15301, Class 1 (d), (Restoration of rehabilitation of deteriorated or damaged structures, facilities, or mechanical equipment to meet current standards of public health and safety) of the CEQA Guidelines.
