The proposed project will involve demolishing a 20 foot by 20 foot corrugated metal shed and replacing it with a prefabricated 30 foot by 18 foot metal shed. The current building is used to house plumbing supplies and a quick attack fire truck for the Honeydew Volunteer Fire Department. The new building will be used to secure and house emergency equipment and supplies for fire rescue and medical response. The demolition and new construction will require permits from the County that will be obtained prior to beginning the project.
No significant environmental impact would occur to aesthetics, agriculture and foreland/timberland, air quality, biological resources, cultural resources, geology and soils, greenhouse gass emissions, hazards and hazardous materials, hydrology and water quality, land use planning, mineral resources, noise, population and housing, public services, recreation, transportation/traffic, or to utilities and service systems.
