Document Description
The purpose of the Project is to establish the updated basis for fees to be imposed upon development projects for the purpose of defraying all or a portion of the cost of parks and recreation public facilities and programs related to the development projects. The facilities for which the fees are collected are consistent with the Galt Park Master Plan Update (2010) and the 2030 Galt General Plan and General Plan Environmental Impact Report. The primary reason for the Project is to bring the City's recreation impact fees up to date to reflect the recently updated General Plan thereby assuring the sufficient funds will be available when planned publc infrastructure improvements are required.
