Document Description
The proposed Project would remove non-native vegetation such as Cape ivy, German ivy, Arundo, and Vinca from approximately 1,600 linear feet of stream channel to facilitate flow through the channel. Horizontal branches growing from trees along the stream channel would be trimmed to a height of not more than 6 feet to facilitate high flows. Equipment to be used includes chainsaws, string trimmers, and other hand tools to cut or trim vegetation and Rodeo herbicide to treat roots or stumps of invasive vegetation.
