Document Description
The Project consists of re-grading forest Service Road 08S014 and installing a 26-foot by 36-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert, with apron at the inlet, to allow Alder Gulch passage under the roadway. A sand bag dike with a 6-inch PE by-pass pipe will divert water around the site while grading of the road occurs. The corrugated metal pipe culvert will be installed at or below the natural streambed at a slope to provide natural cleaning. Native soil will be used for fill material, and tunnel muck rock will be used to armor the surface of the road. A depression will be made on the new road surface to direct any excess flows to a path that will not erode the corrugated metal pipe culvert fill material.
