Document Description
The Expo Bike Path would involve construction of a Class 1 bike path that will run parallel to the Exposition Corridor Light Rail line that would connect the Los Angeles region to Santa Monica. The Expo Bike Path is proposed to be located north of the Exposition Corridor Light Rail line tracks but moves south of the tracks after an at-grade crossing at Olympic Boulevard. Where the Expo Bike Path crosses Olympic Boulevard at 22nd Street, a new traffic signal will be required and is proposed for safety. The Exposition Construction Authority anticipates beginning the detailed design process in late 2010.
