Document Description
The Novato Sanitary District proposes to reinforce this existing concrete junction box to adequately withstand increased pressure needed to pump tertiary-treated effluent from the Novato Wastewater Treatment Plant to its outfall point on San Pablo Bay. This activity is necessary to meet current and future regulatory requirements, including NPDES, the California Toxics Rule, Basin Plan, and associated reliability criteria. This also allows the District to provide sufficient treatment and disposal capacity to meet projected flows associated with the buildout of General Plans in effect within its service area.
