Make repairs to the Burdell Blacksmith shop at Olompali State Historic Park to return the structure to its historic appearance. Work will replace missing planks, battens, the sliding door, and windows; and place horizontal re-sawn redwood planks to disguise the modern stem wall foundation. All newly added materials will match historic fabric in quality and dimensions, and new components will be assembled using historically correct construction techniques. Additional work will paint the structure white once restoration work is complete.
