Document Description
The uncontrolled public use of the site and recent construction has led to the degradation of the riparian corridor just downstream of Arroyo Grande Creek's most severed steelhead migration passage. The project will provide habitat restoration through removal of exotics and installation of native plants, slope rehabilitation of an unstable bank and environmental education through trail access and curriculum development with the adjacent school and district that will improve habitat conditions, bank integrity, public safety and increase public stewardship of public trust resources including threatened Steelhead trout.
