Document Description
The California Department of Public Health is a responsible agency for this project. The Tejon-Castaic Water District has proposed to operated a new 600 gpm granular activated carbon (GAC) treatment system to an existing water treatment plant currently serving the water system. The GAC treatment is intended to reduce organic matter in the raw drinking water in order for the water system to meet more stringent drinking water standards for disinfectant/disinfection byproducts.
