Document Description
The Project consists of replacing an existing, deteriorated foot bridge with a new foot bridge 74 feet in length, and maximum of 14 feet high. A total of seven (7) footings will be constructed, ranging in size from 2 feet deep by 2 feet wide by 7 feet long to 2 feet deep by 2 feet wide by 11 feet long. Footings are all buried a minimum of 18-inches in the ground, replacing approximately 10 cubic yards of substrate. Water will not be present during construction, and therefore, will not need to be diverted. No vegetation will be impacted. Equipment used will include only hand tools as the steep terrain does not allow access by conventional excavation equipment.
