Document Description
The Hell Hole Domestic Water System (HHWS) and storage Tank were constructed to provide water for domestic use and fire protection for the cabins and dormitory at Hell Hole Reservoir. The 50,000 gallon storage tank is constructed of redwood and was built in 1966. The tank is outdated, has major leaks, is showing signs of failure and is in need of replacement. The proposed new tank would be approximately 20-feet in inner diameter, 24-feet in height and have the same capacity as the existing tank.
