Document Description
Using both state and federal funds the California Department of Transportation will install a cable barrier in the median of State Route (SR) 101, starting just south of the City of Ukiah at El Roble Road Overcrossing and ending at the SR 20/101 separation, in Mendocino County. Work will include: installing a cable barrier in the highway median with metal support posts placed in 3-foot by 1-foot diameter concrete footings and offset 4 feet from the median flow line; concrete weed barrier under the cable barrier; resetting 7 existing drainage inlets to conform to ground level; and installing a paved emergency vehicle crossover at postmile 28.4.
