NOTES: Review per Lead The VA proposes to construct a land stabilization project to structurally stabilize the northern portion of the San Francisco VA Medical Center campus against natural events such as major earthquakes and landslides. Major and minor landslides, as well as surface slumping, have historically occurred on the slope below the northern portion of the Medical Center campus due to high rainfall, seismic movement, and land erosion. The Proposed Action includes two retaining walls, storm water drainage improvements, and structural improvements to Buildings 25 and 3..
