Document Description
The program is the series of actions by Alameda County to approve new Conditional Use Permits to allow new wind-farm uses in the APWRA, as allowed by the East County Area Plan (ECAP) and as conditionally permitted by the County Zoning Ordinance. The Golden Hills Wind Project will replace 775 old turbines with up to 52 new generation turbines for a capacity of 88.4 MW on 38 parcels. The Patterson Pass Wind Project will replace 324 old turbines with up to 12 new turbines for a capacity of 19.8 MW on three parcels.
