Document Description
The project is an amendment to an approved project to develop 143,500 square feet of commercial development on a 17-acre site. The amended project substituted 148 multi-family apartments for 80,000 square feet of commercial development. The specific project approvals included a rezoning to add a Residential Overlay Zoning District to 10 acres of the 17 acre site; a Vesting Tentative Subdivision Map; and Design Permit and Minor Parking Variation for the construction of 148 multi-family apartments on 5.97 acres with associated parking, site circulation roads, sidewalks, utilities, and club house, pool, and other recreational amenities. An Initial Study was prepared for the project which documented that the amended project will not result in any new or increased significant impacts not already addressed in the 2011 project EIR. Therefore, in accordance with CEQA Guidelines Section 15162, an Addendum was adopted for the amended project.
