One Year Time Extension Request for A Previously Approved Use Permit Application No. PA-0900184 of Union Pacific Railroad (c/o transystems) to expand an existing intermodal facility in two phases over ten years. The project includes the construction of eight new buildings totaling 26,042 square feet, the addition of 1,901 container bays, replacing and adding new engine tracks, upgrading and relocating the automated gate system, and replacing the existing 120 foot communications tower with a 140 foot tall communications tower. The project site is located on the south side of Roth Road, 1,840 feet west of Airport Way, east of Lathrop (Supervisorial District 3).
