Document Description
The proposed project is the modernization and expansion of the existing Union Pacific (UP) Intermodal Facility. The applicant has requested a Use Permit from San Joaquin County for the proposed expansion. This new permit would supplement two existing Use Permits governing operations at the site. The original Use Permit to create the Intermodal facility was granted by the County in 1992, and a second Use Permit was granted by the County in 2009 for additional parking for intermodal cargo units.
